Changing Lives through Dentistry

Every day, I see how dentistry can improve a person’s life. By restoring oral health and creating a beautiful smile, dentists change a person’s self-esteem and boost their confidence. After treatment, patients smile more often and without worry about their appearance, feeling happier about themselves.

Dentistry is a great profession. Working with a patient to help them achieve their goals, I am along for the ride. Together, we find the care approach that works for their needs. While there are basic procedures, each patient and each tooth presents unique challenges. I constantly have to think, strategize, and assess what is the right technique for that person.

Serving a diverse population gives me insight and better understanding of many cultures and how each views the importance of dental care. It’s a great feeling to build trust with a patient and see them transform from someone who neglects their teeth and oral health to someone who cherishes their smile and works hard to preserve it.

My Team

My team is my family. They are an amazing group of hardworking professionals dedicated to making each patient’s experience safe, comfortable, and fun. Sometimes a patient is fearful: our team ensures that person is listened to, respected, and supported from the minute they arrive to when they leave. Providing exceptional care is a group effort and I am fortunate to have the best team around! Most of our team members have worked together for at least 5 years if not 10 or more. The chemistry built over the course of time and the ease at which we deliver high quality care for you is unsurpassed.

Education and Continuing Education

My Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) was awarded by the University of Missouri at Kansas City. That education provided an excellent foundational understanding of dentistry. However, this is a constantly evolving field and I must stay on top of those changes in order to offer the best care to patients.

I participate in lectures and hands-on continuing education, far surpassing the annual requirements. I also participate in local dental society meetings and am an affiliate faculty member at the University of Washington School of Dentistry.

Personal Life

I grew up in Seattle and Kenmore, WA and moved back to the area as soon as I graduated from dental school. My family and I now live in my hometown of Kenmore. My wife and I married in October 2013. We have been blessed with two wonderful sons. Gagan was born in March 2015 and Preet was welcomed to our family in August 2017. We also share a basenji/terrier mix rescue dog, Grover, with my parents.

When I’m not working I’m with my wife and boys. Family time is essential to me, whether we’re boating, in the garden, or taking care of projects at the office or home. We also love to travel and look forward to road trips around the Pacific Northwest as our sons grow.

I have many passions relating to my career, and my own personal goals, but the best passion is my family. The boys have become the focal point in my life: it’s been an amazing journey to become a father and grows better and better with each passing day.
